Ryan Bavin
Ryan Bavin is a glass artist from Invermere, BC, Canada. Born in 1973, he has been working with glass for over thirty years since the late 1980’s.
Read moreTrained as a glassblower by his father, Pat, artistic expression has always been a part of everyday life. Ryan started apprenticing at age 15 and has worked with glass ever since. He Iirst attended Pilchuck Glass School in the mid nineties, returning to the school many times in such roles as teaching assistant and gaffer as well as student. He has worked with internationally respected artists from Canada and around the world. Today, he continues his glass practice at his studio in Invermere. Ryan’s artwork is included in collections both public and private, across Canada and worldwide, including the Art Bank of the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario.
