“Riotous Strokes” is a two word summary of my landscapes and bears. I do not simplify subjects, but rather layer color and irregular, seeming random brushstrokes on the canvas in an impressionistic style with abstract elements. From up close, the canvas is a maze of unstructured strokes of color, irregular, interwoven, multilayered and anything but simple.
